Open du Génie de la Lampe, Swiss step of the Grand Prix : this weekend

For the third year, now, Pierre-Yves will be happy to host you in Sierre for the Swiss Championship. This is also the fourth step of the Grand Prix and the second step of the Tour de France. The last year, 2 Italian players and 7 French players were very happy to come. We hope that we will see more players this year.
The tournament will take place in a beautiful place, the Castle from Venthône (CH), near Sierre, next 9 and 10 june. All information relating to the situation, plan, and rules of tournament under www.geniedelalampe.org/Diplo. There are possibilities to sleep free near the Castle.

Diplomacy Over the Lake : The results

The last week, took place Diplomacy Over the Lake in Como, Italy. We spent 2 days in a beautiful place with a great sight. It was real pleasure to participate to this tournament. There were 15 players and 6 boards were played. Riccardo Savini won the Top board and the tournament. With his good result, on the Saturday afternoon, Giovanni Cesarini took the second place following by Gwen Maggi. We discovered a new player : Sergio Lebedev, the brother of Alex. And he succeeded to take the best Turkey, the only one who stay alive!

EuroDipCon 2007 : September 8-10 in Marseilles

This year, the EuroDipCon will take place in South of France, near Marseilles. For the first time, you will be allowed to convoy an army from Marseilles to the Gulf of Lion! You can find a lot of informations about the tournament and what you will be able to do on the official website.
For example, on Saturday, you will have 2 important events : the match of Rugby in Marseilles between Italy and New Zealand and the match of soccer between France and Italy in Italy. This night will be very hot!!

World Diplomacy Championships 17 Aug 9th-12th, Vancouver BC

I hope to see a lot of European players in Vancouver, Canada. It will be probably the most important event of the year! So, YOU CAN'T MISS IT!! There's a lot of information at www.vancouverdiplomacy.ca and you can contact Nathan Barnes too.
If you come for the WDC, I suggest you to try to play one or two other tournaments. The DragonFlight (Buz Eddy) will take place the weekend before the WDC in Seattle. The HuskyCon (Website) will take place the weekend after the WDC in New York. A good step before to come back in Europe!
